Description
The FAA watermark will not appear on purchased prints. The red avadavat, red munia or strawberry finch (Amandava amandava) is a sparrow-sized bird of the Estrildidae family. It is found in the open fields and grasslands of tropical Asia and is popular as a cage bird due to the colourful plumage of the males in their breeding season. It breeds in the Indian Subcontinent in the monsoon season. The species name of amandava and the common name of avadavat are derived from the city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat, India, from where these birds were exported into the pet trade in former times.
I graduated from the Kemerovo State University of Culture and the Arts in Russia with a Specialist Degree in Theater Arts and Theatrical Education, but I'm a self taught photographer and artist. Videography, Photography, and art is not just my profession and passion, but I would say it is also some kind of meditation and compilation process for me that helps to abstract my mind, and I'm glad to share my visions with you. Thank you very much for your interest. Olga Hamilton
